What Does the Future Hold?

This week the 7th and 8th graders of Waters explored the tension between who they want to be when they grow up and what either their families, teachers, or society expect them to be. After reading “When I Grow Up I Want I Want to Be a List of Further Possibilities” by Chen Chen, students created list poems reflecting who and what they want to become in the future, whether possible or impossible.
