I hear a vulture
using its talons to hunt
a terrified hare
Then it attacks it
and swings it into its nest
to eat for later
I’d like to be a
panda eating bamboos and
exploring forests
blue like the sky and
loud like a[n] elephant, calm
like poetry calm

When you go to the ocean and smell air
and water splashes on you and it has no trash
when the waves splash, you
are smelling oxygen
fish do not have eyelids
they gather around to go to sleep.
When they breathe bubbles come out.

The lights of the city streets are as bright as
